Social Media Rebate Program

Effective Date: May 1st, 2025

End Date: November 1st, 2025

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your participation in the Social Media Rebate Program (“Program”) offered by Halo Innovations Inc. (“Company,” “we,” or “us”). By participating in the Program, you (“you” or “Customer”) agree to comply with these Terms.

• Open to customers who purchase eligible products directly from Halo Innovations Inc. during the promotional period.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and have a valid, public social media account on a supported platform (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, YouTube).
• Purchase must be made within Canada.
• If a customer receives a table at a discount of $1,100.00 or more, that customer will be ineligible to receive rebates on that purchase.
• Customers who have purchase qualifying products during the period of May1st, 2025 and November 1st, 2025 are able to submit content for rebate until December 1st, 2025.

To qualify for the rebate, the customer must:

1. Purchase a qualifying product from Halo Innovations Inc.
2. Create and post content featuring the product on a public social media account that Halo then needs to approve. 
3. Approved content will be re-posted on Halo social media pages. Comments or likes on content does not deem the content as accepted.
4. Include all of the following in the post:
   • A clear image or video of the product in use.
   • Tag @haloinnovations (Instagram), @Halo Innovations Inc (Facebook), @Halo-Innovations (YouTube).
   • Include required hashtag #CutWithConfidence

         4. If Halo has not contacted you within 2 business days about an accepted post, submit proof of purchase and post via marketing@halo-innovations.ca within 15 days of creating the post.

         5. If a customer does not have any of the accepted social media accounts or wishes to remain anonymous, they can submit their content directly to Halo for review.

• Rebates will be issued within 15 days of content approval.
• If a customer does not wish to receive rebates via E-transfer, the rebate will be held until full value or December 1st, 2025 and refunded via original payment method.
• Rebates can also be claimed as store credit, and must be claimed before December 29th, 2025.

• Posts must be original, appropriate, and clearly feature the product.
• Posts must remain public and accessible for a minimum of 30 days from date of posting.
• Content must not contain false claims, defamatory remarks, offensive language, or violations of platform rules.

• Rebates are non-transferable.
• Content entered after December 1st, 2025 will no longer be eligible for rebates.
• During this period, a customer can only receive a maximum of $1,100.00 total in discounts or rebates from each table purchased. Any sales or promo codes applied will be deducted from the available rebate amount. 

• By submitting your post as part of the rebate program, you grant Halo Innovations Inc. a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, reproduce, distribute, and display your content—including your social media handle and likeness—for marketing, promotional, and advertising purposes.

We reserve the right to deny any rebate submission that:

• Does not meet the stated requirements.
• Is fraudulent, misleading, or contains inaccurate product representations.
• Is deleted or made private prior to rebate processing.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. By participating in this Program, you agree to the collection and use of your personal and social media information as described below.

Information We Collect:

• Name, email address, and shipping address (for product delivery).
• Purchase information including order ID, product details, and date of purchase.
• Social media content submitted for the rebate, including images, video, captions, usernames, and engagement metrics.

How We Use This Information:

• To validate your eligibility and process your rebate.
• To contact you regarding your submission or rebate status.
• To feature or share your submitted content on our website, social channels, and in marketing materials (as outlined in Section 6).

Social Media and Public Content:

• Any social media post made for the purposes of this Program is considered public and may be viewed, shared, and stored by Halo Innovations Inc.
• You should not submit or post any personal information or content that you do not wish to be public.

Data Protection:

• We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, misuse, or loss.
• We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes without your consent.

Your Rights:

• You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data.
• To exercise your rights, please contact us at marketing@halo-innovations.ca.

Halo Innovations Inc. reserves the right to modify or cancel this Program at any time without notice. Submissions made and accepted by Halo prior to the cancellation date will be honored per the original terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
