These castors come with both a wheel and a nitrile rubber pad. The rubber pad is used to provide a more stable foundation for your plasma table.
The thumbscrew is what allows you to raise or lower the rubber pad. This allows the user to level their plasma table, or utilize the wheels when needed.
The locking castors that come stock on our plasma tables don't offer any sort of vibration cancellation or levelling ability. When cutting or traversing the torch at higher speeds, it can cause vibration in the table, or even jerkiness. If this happens while cutting smaller or lighter material, it could cause your material to shift out of position.
These manual levelling castors have a nitrile rubber pad that absorbs vibrations and allows for more stability, limiting the possibility that your material could shift.
This thumbscrew can raise your plasma table up to 5mm and has access from either side of the castor, making levelling your plasma table easy.
The greatest ease of levelling occurs at half of the maximum weight capacity of all four castors.
The foot pad helps to reduce vibration when the table is in operation.
Being made of Nitrile Rubber, it is also resistant to oil, gasoline, and other chemicals, making it perfect for a shop environment.
It also has a wide range of temperature that it can operate in, from -40 Celsius to 108 Celsius.
