Using a cross-sectional cnc torch laser guide on a small or large cnc plasma table is a very useful visual aid. It will speed up and improve your accuracy when selecting a start point, squaring up a new piece of material and watching the cut file run in demo or framing mode.
If you are performing edge cutting and the material had to be removed to pre-drill pilot arc holes, the laser will allow a faster and more accurate method to realign the part.
If you are performing bevel cutting, the laser can be directed to point outward and provide a longer line across your part, providing speed and accuracy as the part is moved and rotated on the table.
This plasma table accessory has two laser placement positions to allow for a wider range of usability. The outermost laser placement is angled toward the torch.
This position has a shorter laser length, reducing the risk of being flashed by the laser while still providing the brightest visual of the X-and Y- cross-section.
You can quickly and accurately set your start point without having to leave the operator station.
The innermost laser placement is angled slightly outward to give a longer beam across the material, enabling a better ability to square up larger pieces of material.
This plasma table accessory is particularly beneficial when cutting from leftover materials, reworking cuts, optimizing every inch of a metal sheet, performing bevel cuts, and performing edge cuts.
The 7.5in long arms allow the cnc torch laser guide to be placed higher up on the torch in order to reduce wear and tear from debris during the cutting process. The ability to place the laser guide higher on the torch also removes the need to remove the laser guide between cuts.
The green lasers are 50 times brighter than red ones, making them easily visible even under intense shop lighting and across the entire cnc plasma table. They also stand out better on textured metal surfaces and remain visible through welding safety goggles.
The removable battery pack takes 4 AA batteries. It can also be permanently removed in order to hard wire the lasers into the table as well.
Included with purchase: 2 green diode lasers, torch laser guide, and removable battery pack.
